The snow is deep out there (by December’s standard’s, anyway) and conditions are beautiful for snowshoeing and back-country skiing! Because the snow has been so wet and the weather so warm during the days, we have held off on starting our machine grooming until today. But the snowmobile made it around The Loop twice today, so things are underway! No manicured grooming or set tracks just yet, as our attachment is still in need of repair, but we are packing snow for a good solid base moving forward. There’s lots of great snowshoeing out there on and off The Loop, and back-country skiers will find a ton of terrain to play in right now, so get out and explore!
