MTA’s Board Directors are volunteers. They commit to attending monthly Board meetings (usually in Barre City) and are motivated to find solutions to the unique challenges MTA faces in its efforts to maintain, develop and promote the trails within the Barre Town Forest. A wide range of skill sets are needed and welcomed on the Board, from on-the-ground practical trail maintenance skills to financial and legal know-how, to information technology wizardry, organizational development abilities and beyond.
