Millstone Trails Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run organization that maintains the Millstone Trails, a network of non-motorized recreational trails in Central Vermont. Our trails traverse 1,500 acres of diverse and dramatic terrain, among historic quarries, New England villages, and regenerating forests. If you like our trails, whether it be for walking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, photography, history, or just enjoying the scenery, we encourage you to make a tax-deductible donation.
Donations are critical to the success of our efforts to maintain, develop and expand our network of trails. Funds go directly toward these efforts and pay for fuel for our equipment, maintenance and repair on our tools and machinery, as well as our efforts to serve the community through the preservation of the cultural and historical identity embedded in the Town Forest.
In an effort to better serve the Winter recreation community, we are offering free use of the trails, with a suggested donation of $5 per day for the 2017-2018 Winter season. If you prefer to donate just once, consider a $50 donation for the entire season. These are suggested donation amounts; the choice is up to you this season. We will be grooming some of our trails and ask for your support in making this effort possible. If you enjoy using the trails in the Winter, please consider donating what you can — every dollar puts a little more fuel in our snow machine and helps us maintain the trails for the best possible use!
Donations are processed securely via Paypal; you can use any major credit card to make your donation and you will be emailed a receipt. We will also mail you a signed confirmation and thank-you letter. Thank you for your support!
