We had one crazy storm yesterday with powder snow followed by frozen snow pellets, but all has ended very well. We picked up another 4″ of cover and it is now snowing. Today is our first full day of Winterfest ’08, and conditions could not be much better, with the temperature predicted to be around 30 degrees and intermittent light snow. Crews will be out early grooming all the ski trails, clearing the quarry for skating, and putting the finishing touches on the sled and toboggan runs.
