I skied the main loops yesterday afternoon and conditions are good! At 12 degrees, it felt pretty balmy out there compared to the last few days. In most places, there is a 6-12″ frozen base, with just enough powder on top for a nice glide.   However, in a few spots, mostly in the softwoods and the open fields, the cover is thin, so caution is advised. The ski trails had not been recently groomed (as of 6PM Friday) but they skied nicely.  The new mountain bike loop looks like it is snow-machined packed and ready to go.  Let’s hope we get some of those snow flurries that are predicted for the weekend!
